Enjoy the Tastes of Evanston this Christmas!

It’s hard to believe Christmas is this weekend!  We’ve been enjoying the sights and sounds of the holiday season that Evanston has provided for us and have been anticipating one of the most exciting days of the year!

The hustle and bustle of the season may mean that some of you are ready to relax and just enjoy the holiday.  If you are nixing the Christmas Eve or Christmas Day cooking this year; you’re in luck!  There are a few of Evanston’s favorite restaurants that will be open and ready to serve you as you spend quality time with family and friends.  Whether you’re an Evanston resident or just visiting Evanston to enjoy the local dining, I hope you take advantage of one of these great Evanston restaurants!

Pensiero Ristorante

- If you’re looking for something new to do on Christmas Eve, Pensiero is just the place!  The Feast of the Seven Fishes event honors the traditional Italian celebration and will be a night of great food and wine!  Dinner will begin at 6pm and is $85 per person.  Please call Pensiero to make your reservations!  Pensiero will be closed on Christmas Day.

- This traditional American style restaurant will be open on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day until 4pm!

Pete Miller's Seafood

- Enjoy great seafood at Pete Miller’s which will be open to serve you on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day until 8:30pm.

Davis Fishmarket

- This Evanston favorite will be open Christmas Eve until 10 p.m, but closed on Christmas Day.

Koi Chinese and Sushi

- This great Evanston Chinese and Sushi restaurant is open Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with a special menu for kids and adults, as well as party favors!

Evanston is not only a fantastic place to be during the holiday season, but all year round!  This charming and vibrant community experiences the best of the small town atmosphere with close proximity to the world metropolis of Chicago!
