Evanston Gives the Gift of Green this Holiday Season!

This North Shore city is full of pleasant surprises as it continues to grow and stretch its arms to embrace the most current issues of today.  This holiday season is just one example of Evanston's constant world awareness, yet wholesome appeal.

Going green takes on the holiday spirit with an energy exchange!  The city is sponsering a light exchange for residents at the Morton Grove Civic Center while supplies last.  Residents are encouraged to bring in their incandescent holiday lights for a free energy efficient LED holiday light strand.  This event not only helps the environment by conserving its precious energy, but also brings residents together as they work towards this common goal in making their community a better place to live.

Interested in becoming a part of this vibrant cityLet me know!  I would love to show you around the neighborhoods filled with historical homes or the downtown with updated vintage condos.  Just spending a few hours in Evanston will give you insight into why so many enjoy calling this place "home!"
